Sustainability backed by documentation

Overview:

Sustainability is becoming part of product compliance, not just brand communication.

Since 12 August 2026, the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) applies across the European Union. It introduces common requirements for packaging placed on the EU market, including conformity assessment and technical documentation requirements for manufacturers.

For single-use packaging, the relevant technical documentation and EU Declaration of Conformity must generally be retained for five years. For reusable packaging, the retention period is ten years. Further recyclability and recycled-content requirements are phased in towards 2030.

For brands, this means packaging compliance increasingly depends on having reliable technical and supplier documentation available.

As an OEM/ODM manufacturing partner, we can provide manufacturing records and available supplier documentation to support PPWR conformity assessments, retailer requirements and customer sustainability questionnaires.

Our production system is supported by established quality processes and certifications including GMP, ISO 9001, IFS Food, SIQ and BIO certification where applicable.

Environmental measures include recycling of production materials and participation in the Green Dot packaging recovery system.

The goal is simple: when a customer, retailer or compliance team asks for documentation, the supporting records are already part of the manufacturing system.
